Narpal Sandhu

Narpal is a second year studying Metabolism and Physiology at UC Berkeley. He has conducted research, discovering and altering the DNA of duckweed, for uses as renewable energy. He has also conducted research mapping lipoprotein kinetics in cell culture and mice models. This past winter he travelled to seven countries in twenty four days with just a backpack. Narpal loves to hike, backpack, and reading stoic philosophy. He is beyond excited to work with O2I organization and create a lasting impact on his community.
