Sydney Wexler

Sydney is a third year student at UC Berkeley studying Nutritional Sciences. She is passionate about nutrition education and increasing food equity in low-access communities such as low-income populations, minority groups, and college campuses. In addition to her involvement in Food, Equity, Entrepreneurship, and Development (FEED), a UC Berkeley consulting group, she works as a Nutrition Outreach Worker at the University Health Center and is an active member of the Pilipinx community at Cal. She has served as Public Relations Chair of the UC Berkeley Student Nutrition Advocacy Club and volunteered as a Public Health and Policy Research Apprentice with the Nutrition Policy Institute to conduct research on food waste as well as sugary beverage consumption in the Bay Area. After graduation, she plans to become a Registered Dietitian in order to pursue her passion for food justice and community nutrition. She is looking forward to working with O2I this semester as a project manager with FEED.
