Volunteer Disclaimer

Outside2Inside, Inc. (“O2I”) and its employees, members, owners, and operators thank you for volunteering your time to assist O2I. By volunteering, you agree to all of the following:

Volunteer desires to work as a volunteer for O2I and engage in those activities related to being a volunteer at O2I. The Volunteer understands that the associated actions would include a variety of activities to include but not limited to participating in volunteer/community events, participating in O2I’s regular activities, assisting with meal preparation, helping put together documents and other items for O2I, gardening activities, sorting medical supplies, animal care and assisting with other tasks that O2I may need assistance with, some of which may require the use of knives, scissors, shovel, rakes, pruning shears or other sharp or potentially dangerous objects. (Any activities performed for or in connection with O2I shall be hereinafter referred to as “Volunteer’s Activities.”)

Release and Waiver: Volunteer does hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless O2I and its successors and assigns and O2I’s employees, agents, owners, members, directors, officers and their successors and assigns (“Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from Volunteer’s Activities for or in connection with O2I. Volunteer understands that this Release discharges O2I from any liability or claim that the Volunteer may have against O2I with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from the Volunteer’s Activities with O2I, whether caused by the negligence of O2I or its officers, directors, employees, or agents or otherwise. Volunteer also understands that O2I does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability insurance in the event of injury or illness.

Medical Treatment: Volunteer does hereby release and forever discharge Releasees from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment, or service rendered in connection with the Volunteer’s Activities with O2I. O2I members will nevertheless provide all possible reasonable human assistance and guidance in case of an emergency.

Assumption of the Risk: The Volunteer understands that the risk of injury is inherent in any activity physical in nature. Volunteer hereby expressly and specifically assumes the risk of injury or harm in the Volunteer’s Activities and releases Releasees from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from Volunteer’s Activities.

Insurance: The Volunteer understands that, except as otherwise agreed to by O2I in writing, O2I may not carry or maintain health, medical, or disability insurance for any Volunteer.

Miscellaneous: Volunteer expressly agrees that this Release in intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of California and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Volunteer agrees that in the event that any clause or provision of this Release shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable.

Minor student who wish to volunteer for O2I are encouraged to talk to their school administration for any requirements that may be expected by their school.

Course Disclaimer

Outside2Inside courses are experiential workshops aimed at improving the environment. However, we do not recommend to solely rely on these courses for any advice on environment. The participants are advised to seek proper assistance and care with the respective specialists. During class time, all the principles will be explained thoroughly and the techniques practiced exhaustively so you will be confident in your ability to produce positive results when you have finished the course(s).

We take precautions to protect your information. We do not collect sensitive information (such as credit card data when you are placing a product order). Rather, we use third-party (PayPal) source to process the transaction. We are not responsible for the sensitive information collected via PayPal, so please contact PayPal in regards to that. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, prepare an order for shipment) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure hosting environment. But we are not responsible for any security leaks with the hosting environment.

Orders

If you would like to order a product from O2I, PayPal may request information from you on their order form. To buy from us we do not collect any financial information like credit card number rather all transactions are handled through PayPal. Any order(s) is shipped to the address provided in PayPal. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use the information (email, phone number and physical address) provided by you via PayPal to contact you.

Returns & Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Outside2Inside does not accept returns or provide refunds of any kind.  All sales are final.
